Can We Stop The Remakes?!

There has been a huge increase in remaking movies lately. Ok, Hollywood... the whole world already thinks you're idiotically unoriginal. Can we make just a bigger effort to disprove this. Aren't you supposed to be the greatest movie industry in the world?

Hollywood is now helping turn our youth into tasteless zombies that takes something simple to amuse them.

You may have heard that Robert Rodriguez, of Sin City and Grindhouse fame, is remaking 1968's Barbarella. Rodriguez's girlfriend Rose McGowran was reportedly supposed to star, however, she and Rodriguez have splitsky. According to Perez Hilton, Jessica Alba is now in talks to appear as the titular character.

Uggh! Please don't let this be true! Not only am I not a fan of Alba's but her movies suck. She like what Heather Locklear is to TV shows. Everytime she appears on screen, automatic flop. (Usually critically).

The original Barbarella has a huge cult following and remaking it is not going to make the fans happy. There is no way in hell that this movie can be made better, even with Rodriguez behind the helm. Also it is my humblest opinion that they try casting better actresses to fill Jane Fonda's spacey stilettos. honestly.... i think (i'm so embarrassed to say this) lindsay lohan would be a better Barbarella. She's already got the look, she might as well embrace the leotards and hair volumizer. and she's on her way to being a controversial idol just like Jane Fonda.

That's my two cents....

Do you mean bette or worse? If they were made better in the first place, they would have been classics and not cult films.
